This month’s memo is a recap of our 2025 CMC-BC Awards Night, held in October. It was an incredible evening celebrating excellence in management consulting across British Columbia. Hosted at KWENCH Coworking & Culture Club in Victoria, the event featured TED Talk-style CMC Talks focused on the Power of Your Personal Story, the celebration of our award recipients and newly designated CMCs and FCMCs, delicious catering from Songhees Events & Catering, and a showcase of local Indigenous artists selling their work.
Awards Night was well attended, thank you to everyone who joined us. For those who couldn’t make it, I’ve included the key highlights below.

Each of our speakers at Awards Night spent the past six months working closely with Kate to shape and refine their talks. A TEDx speaker herself, Kate brought insight, structure, and clarity to the stories shared on stage.

I’d also like to recognize Rob Cupello and Kristine Jones from StrategyHive Solutions, along with Sandhill Winery in Kelowna. Rob and Kristine generously provided three Okanagan wine baskets from Sandhill Winery, which were drawn as prizes during Awards Night.

Alexa Tremblay
Finally, I want to celebrate my colleague, Alexa Tremblay, who served as Chair of this year’s Awards Night. Alexa’s fingerprints were on every detail, from the venue selection to the program flow to the flowers on the tables. As Alexa’s team members, Maggie Mckenna and I saw firsthand the care and dedication she put into planning and executing this key community building event.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Alexa! We’re so proud to witness your evolution as a consultant and leader in our community.
